School Hours
Our school hours are:
8:45 am – 3:25 pm (3:15pm YR, 3:20pm Y1)
At 8:45 a.m. the gates will be unlocked and you are welcome to bring your children into the front playground. We respectfully request that children remain on the playground area and do not use the field or the climbing equipment before or after school. Bikes or scooters must not be used on the playground for health and safety reasons. Parents are not permitted around the back of our school site due to safeguarding, health and safety restrictions. Children who are in Y2, 3 and 4 can be dropped at the school gate and will walk around to their classrooms independently. At 9am the gates will be closed and all parents are required to be off site.
All children should be in school for the start of the school day. It is very important that children are punctual for the start of school.
At 3:15pm the front gates will be unlocked. At 3:25 pm (3:15pm YR, 3:20pm Y1) the children are seen out by the class teachers who will bring them out to the front playground to a designated collection area. We ask all parents not to crowd around the Y1 and YR classroom fences as it is difficult for young children to see their parents.
Our school week equates to 32.5 hours for our children in Reception and Year 1, and 33 hours for our children in Years 2, 3, and 4.
